The primary goal of this project is to improve pedestrian/transit and cyclist/transit mobility. The Broward Mobility Project consist of forty-eight (48) projects with various improvements, such as additions of sidewalks and/or bicycle lanes throughout Broward County within the following municipalities: Town of Davie, City of Fort Lauderdale, City of Plantation, City of Sunrise, City of Lauderhill, City of Tamarac, City of Oakland Park, City of Lauderdale Lakes, City of Hollywood, City of Deerfield Beach, City of Pembroke Pines, and City of Pompano Beach. The objectives of this project include roadway milling/resurfacing and widening, signing and pavement marking, pedestrian signals, crosswalk, roadway widening, drainage designs to meet quality and quantity criteria, gravity walls, handrails, construction of new sidewalks, curbs, gutter and bike lanes and reconstruction of non-ADA compliant curb ramps.
