This Project sought to provide “Immediate Improvements” that would advance traffic flow throughout the I-95/ Ives Dairy Road Interchange. This was achieved by increasing capacity, improving signalization, and enhancing signing. The Project focused on widening I-95 exit ramps to increase storage, increase the number of turn lanes on ramps, and provide free-flow right turn movements onto Ives Dairy Road.  The Project also entailed improvements to Ives Dairy Road and Highland Lakes Boulevard.  Those improvements included roadway widening to allow for increased turn lanes, signing/pavement marking, signalization, drainage, and lighting. Lakes was responsible for the widening of four ramps and the main line and improvements to I-95, as well as widening of Highland Lakes Boulevard and Ives Dairy Road.  The Project consisted of: line and grade development, drainage, walls, signalization, signing/pavement marking, lighting, and landscaping.
